Midterm Exam

Your midterm will consist of 5 sections.

Section 1 (10pts): True/false problems and identifying the major operator of sentences.

Section 2 (20 pts): Translation

(Study Ch 4. Ex. 2, 3 and 4)

Section 3 (30 pts): Use full or partial truth-tables to test for validity.

(Study Ch. 5 Ex. 1 and 2)

Section 4 (30 pts): Use the shortcut (indirect) method to test for validity.

(Study Ch. 5 Ex. 3)

Section 5 (10 pts): Use truth-tables to test for other logical properties.

(Study Ch. 6, Ex. 2, 3, 4, and 5)
