Guidelines for Assignments:

1. 2-3 typed pages (around 2 for assignments 1 and 2) – normal font/spacing/margins: but work is graded for content not length – so 2 pages is unlikely to get a top grade.
2. We like illustrations – either your own of copied from book (with citation). We still expect 2+ pages of writing.
3. Don't use quotatons from the course pack – explain in your own words.
   
4. Citations must make clear author, source and page number: e.g., '(author, date, page)' in text, then 'author, title, publisher: date' in bibliography.
5. Plagiarism – no verbatim copying, no working from each others answers, no joint submissions: yes to discussion and even commenting on each others answers.
6. Grammar, style, logic, clarity and spelling are graded for.
7. Audience – a classmate who missed the class.
