Here’s the Mach I as purchased. You can’t tell much here,

but the front wheel/tire combo is very skinny (and looks very different now).

You can also see how the rear flare is higher than stock Mach I’s.

 

 

Here you see the rear tire width. Also, you might be able to tell that the rear panel

(like the rest of the car) is not smoothed out well –just sprayed quickly.

 

Now you can get a sense of the front to rear wheel difference

–today it’s much more balanced.

Also note the rear fender flares

–nothing excessive, but if you look closely you see that the top of

the flare is parallel with the top of the door handle.

On stock cars, the fender flare is parallel with the center line that

runs the length of the front fenders and doors. So the distance from

the roof line to the arc of the wheel well is much greater, making it look

thick and "fat" (in my eyes). On the whole, I greatly prefer this "leaner" look.
