Dream Assignment

For section this week, please write about a dream that you had sometime during the week. You may want to consider keeping a dream journal during the week in which you record every dream that you can remember upon waking. Select at least one dream to bring with you to section. During section, I would like for you to discuss this dream in the context of Freudian theory. In other words, try to identify what the latent themes and conflicts might be that give rise to the manifest content of your dreams. Class members should feel free to ask questions in order to better identify what the latent conflicts and wishes are that are creating the dream imagery.
