Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the use of another persons ideas or words without due credit.
First, the best way to avoid plagiarism is to take no notes while reading
-- or only key points while reading. Then after you are done reading, try to generate a
summary of the article IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
To practice this skill, you will give your summary to the class with only the briefest of
                 cheat sheets.
Second, be sure to reference the ideas you get from reading.
