6) when you find an experiment that seems do-able with a group of people/paper
and pencil or
overhead presentation, go and try to find an article that actually HAS the
stimuli in it
Test ONLY ONE manipulation.
OR come up with your own experiment (Even if the idea is new, its still
easier if you base it on
someone else’s experiment, use their stimuli and basic method and only change
ONE THING.
Your constraints are:
find an idea that can be tested using our class (unless you have another
sample)
Paper and pencil or overhead/computer projector presentation.
In less than 10 minutes (preferably closer to 5)
Vary only one thing between conditions.
When you have an idea – fill out the PROJECT OUTLINE WORKSHEET and email
your answers to Dr. Wiley.
She will then arrange a meeting time with you (and your partner)
