Dr. P and Mrs. S assignment (due Thurs., June 10)

1) Read the selections from Sachs’ The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat
(the title chapter and “Eyes Right!”)  

2) Answer the following questions, in essay form (you should write 1-2 pages).

a) What neurological disorders do Dr. P and Mrs. S have?  Use what you
learned in class to answer this question. (Note: Dr. P has more than one disorder).  

b) What is the evidence for the neurological disorders?  That is, describe what
Dr. P and Mrs. S do or don’t do that makes you think that they have a particular disorder.

c) What area of the brain is most likely to be damaged in Dr. P and Mrs. S? 
You will have to read carefully to figure out what area or areas are most likely to be damaged in Dr. P;
use the information you learned in class. You'll need to specify  the lobe or lobes damaged,
and what side of the brain is damaged.
