2nd Annual Robert H. Costa On March 23rd, 2007 the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics held the first Robert H. Costa Memorial
Lecture to honor Robert H. Costa (1957-2006) who passed away after a heroic battle with cancer. The first Robert H. Costa memorial lecture was given by Dr. James Darnell, Jr., Rockefeller University, who Rob joined in 1985 as a postdoctoral student. Rob made many important contributions in the field of cancer biology and was a leading authority in the molecular analysis of liver and cell proliferation. The lecture will be titled "Epigenetic Control by a Pioneer Transcription Factor, FoxA". We welcome you in joining us in honoring the achievements of Robert H. Costa. Jack H. Kaplan
