Presentations and Travel to National Meetings

The STTP expects that all of its predoctoral trainees will present their work at national or international meetings held in the USA. To encourage this, travel to these meetings is fully or partially funded by the STTP grant (up to $1,000/year), and most of our trainees take full advantage of this important support. An essential goal of our training program is to provide guidance and opportunities in the techniques and art of presenting research at national and international meetings. Oral or poster presentations of our STTP trainees are reviewed for content and style by the training faculty during weekly sessions or rehearsals prior to presentations by the trainees at these meetings.
