Rachel Yudkowsky,
MD, MHPE
Director

Rachel received her MD from Northwestern University Medical School in 1979 and attended Northwestern's Evanston Hospital (EH) campus for residency training in Psychiatry. She served as medical student psychiatry clerkship director, psychiatry residency program director, and director of education for the Evanston Hospital Department of Psychiatry, and as associate director of graduate medical education for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of Northwestern University Medical School.

In 1999 Rachel moved to the Department of Medical Education at UIC, where she earned her Masters in Health Professions Education in 2000. In addition to serving as Director of the CPC she is Associate Director of Faculty Development, with a special interest in using standardized medical students to help faculty acquire clinical teaching skills.

Martin Hurm, MFA
Associate Director

Martin has been with the Clinical Performance Center since 1996. He began as a Standardized Patient, became a Standardized Patient Coordinator for four years, and has been the Associate Director since 2003. Martin received his MFA in Acting from Western Illinois University.

Jane Noles, BA
Assistant Director

Jane has been with the Clinical Performance Center as a Standardized Patient since 1997, and as a Standardized Patient Coordinator since 2004. Jane is a graduate of George Williams College with a B.A. in Humanities, Theatre and Music.

Standardized Patient Coordinator

Bob has been a Standardized Patient since 1994, and began as a Standardized Patient Coordinator at the Clinical Performance Center in September of 2005. Bob is a graduate of Illinois State Univerisity with a B.A. in Theatre and Music.
