In today’s changing health care environment, HMOs, private insurance companies, and government healthcare agencies are reducing or eliminating coverage for many vital patient care services. At the same time, more than half of our patients receive medical coverage from a state agency such as The Illinois Department of Public Aid or The Division of Specialized Care for Children. In order to maintain our high level of patient care, we must seek the support of individuals, corporations, and healthcare foundations. These funds received in the form of gifts and grants are used to support patient care services that are not otherwise covered by medical insurance. Significant financial support has been received from the following individuals, corporations, and health care foundations:
The Craniofacial Center is a recognized 501(c) (3) and all gifts are deductible to the full extent of law. Since there are no administrative fees associated with giving, 100% of all gifts come directly to The Center for the purpose for which they are intended. Support may be for general operations or may be designated for a specific program, service, or equipment.
All inquiries regarding gift giving, fundraising events, or just to learn more about the work we do may be directed to Dr. David J. Reisberg, Director, at 312-996-6933 or e-mail at dreisber@uic.edu.
The Craniofacial Center is fortunate to have the support of the Face the Future Foundation (www.facethefuturefoundation.org) The sole mission of this private, volunteer organization is to raise funds and public awareness to support The Craniofacial Center at The University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago.
