Arrhythmia / Electrophysiology
At University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, our mission is to offer unique, advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options for patients with atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, and other electrophysiology issues. UIC investigators have developed and are testing a patented blood test that may predict the onset of atrial fibrillation, and the treatment efficacy of various therapeutic options. The faculty is involved in the design of clinical trials locally, nationally, and internationally.
Diagnostic procedures
