The goals of this program are for you to recognize the most important cardiac auscultatory findings and be able to outline their basic underlying pathophysiology.
This program will teach you the most important findings (“The Big 12”) using a proven training system, “Harvey”, the Cardiopulmonary Patient Simulator. Your skills will be based on an understanding of the cardiac pressure and volume curves, involvement through interaction and mimicry of auscultation, and on repetitive practice with outcomes testing of your skills.
