Clinical Team
Our facilities are staffed by more than 50 professionals, including clinical and research nurses, technologists, dietitians, epidemiologist, statistician, and other support staff. The Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is staffed by board-certified endocrinologists, each with a specific subspecialty interests, and 10 adjunct faculty members, providing clinical teaching from a variety of perspectives. Section faculty members are involved in more than 10,000 outpatient visits per year and provide consultation for several hundred inpatients with acute and chronic endocrine/metabolic disorders.

General Endocrinology
Clinic:
This is a teaching clinic which is serviced by attending physicians, endocrinology
residents and internal medicine residents.
Clinic Hours:
Monday and Friday mornings
The clinic provides care to patients with variable endocrine and metabolic
disorders that include hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid cancer,
pituitary tumors, adrenal insufficiency, osteoporosis, hyperaldosterone
and forms of congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Care is also provided to patients
with various stages and complications of diabetes including diabetes mellitus
type 1 and 2, insulin pump therapy, post-renal transplantation care, obesity,
neuropathy, retinopathy, nephropathy, and diabetes-associated congenital
