Clinical Interests
My major clinical and research interests involve emerging advanced endoscopic techniques in the treatment of pancreaticobiliary disorders. My current research projects include: a study investigating a platelet activating factor inhibitor for the treatment of acute pancreatitis, the yield of cytologic brushing in pancreatic cancer, refinement in techniques of sphincter of Oddi mannometry and improvements in ERCP cannulation technique. My areas of particular clinical expertise include the endoscopic treatment of biliary and pancreatic disease including sphincter of Oddi manometry, endoscopic therapy of gastrointestinal bleeding, treatment of ulcer disease, reflux disease (heartburn) and investigation of chronic abdominal pain.
