Clinical Interest

I am a Pharm.D who teaches and conducts research in the areas of gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition, I am a pharmacotherapist in the Digestive Disease, Nutrition and Liver Clinic. I have a special interest in providing pharmaceutical care to patients with inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis B and hepatitis C. I devote my research efforts in the areas of viral hepatitis and drug induced liver diseases. I have also conducted studies focusing on outcomes research with proton pump inhibitor therapy.
