Annual UIC GILD Gala - "Evening of SweetnessĦħ

For over 10 years, The GILD has raised money to support research, patient care and education to diagnose, prevent and treat gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional diseases.

Established in 1997, The GILD is a volunteer-driven organization that supports the work of faculty physicians at the University of Illinois Medical Center's Section of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition and its Section of Hepatology (liver diseases).

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, The GILD Gala has become one of the premiere social events in Chicago. Last year, over 500 Chicago-land residents attended this popular event, which has raised over half a million dollars to support the gastro-intestinal, liver disease and transplant programs at UIC College of Medicine and the University of Illinois Medical Center.

The GILD is excited to offer you a great opportunity to support this cause-related social event. More importantly, your company can join us in our support of the University of Illinois at Chicago, which is the largest public University in Chicago. This dynamic institution of higher education is world renowned for its medical education and care.
