Understanding the past. Empowering your future.
You, your family, and hereditary cancer.

Research

Research is the foundation of our department, and we are continuously looking for ways to improve the way genetic cancers are diagnosed. We invoke different strategic approaches for the identification and investigation of the underlying causes and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers both in the lab and in the real world/controlled environments with volunteers. Among our areas of study are the effects of the environment on colorectal cancers, the effects of nutrients on colorectal cancers and colorectal cancer genetics.

We provide comprehensive state-of-the-art care for all members of families that have a high risk for developing gastrointestinal or other types of related cancers because of an inherited predisposition.
