Brian Joseph Doyle
Brian is a postdoctoral research associate who conducts research in the area of colorectal cancer genetics. He received a PhD in Pharmacognosy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008 and a BS degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002.

Michael Grzybowski
Mike is a research specialist whose main focus in the lab is to determine the effects of various nutrients on colorectal cancers. Mike graduated in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin with a Master of Science degree in Biology. Mike completed BS degrees in Biology and Conservation and Environmental Sciences, also from the University of Wisconsin in 2005.

Rosa Maria Munoz Xicola
Rosa is a doctoral student who is conducting research on hereditary colon cancer. The focus of her research is identifying novel genetic alterations causing a potentially new colorectal cancer syndrome. Rosa provides expertise in genetics to the research team. Rosa graduated from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2003 with a degree in Biochemistry. She is also a PhD candidate at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB).

Vanessa Rose Sohn
Vanessa is a research specialist in gastrointestinal cancer. She is focusing on environmental effects on colorectal cancers. Vanessa graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2007 with a BS in Biological Sciences. She is also an MD candidate at the University of Illinois in Chicago for the class of 2012.

Volunteers

Puja Sethi
Puja is a volunteer who is currently assisting in various projects in the lab.   Puja graduated from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, H.P., India in 2003 with an MD.

 

We provide comprehensive state-of-the-art care for all members of families that have a high risk for developing gastrointestinal or other types of related cancers because of an inherited predisposition.
