CME Objectives for Hem/Onc Seminar Series

1. Describe the state–of-the-art evaluation and treatment of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
2. Discuss the pathogenesis of neoplastic diseases and benign hematologic disorders at the molecular/cellular  level.
3. Describe the fields of oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes signal transduction for growth factors and other cytokines, as well as mechanisms of induction of apoptosis in hematopoietic cells.
4.  Discuss the scope of therapeutic options for presented malignancies.
