PARKING AND PATIENT DROPOFF:

For questions regarding the Wood Street Parking Structure contact our Parking Office at (312) 413-5850.  For weeklyparking at a reduced rate, contact the Department of Guest Services/Patient Representatives at (312) 996-3610.There is limited parking available in the front of the Oncology Center for patients traveling alone who have difficulty walking from the main Wood Street parking structure.  You must ask the reception staff for a parking permit to put in your front window.There is a driveway in front of the Oncology Center for dropping off patients for clinic appointments.

OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATIONS:

Assistance with overnight accommodations near the Medical Center is available through the Department of Guest Services/Patient Representatives.  Call 312.996.3610.  The closest facility is listed below.  Please ask for the special UIC rate. Van service is provided at Hyatt at University Village, 625 South Ashland.  Reservations: 312.243.7200 

CELLULAR PHONES:

Cellular phones are not permitted in the Oncology center treatment area or lobby.  Cellular phones could cause medical equipment malfunction.

VISIT/PATIENT FOOD SERVICES:

Food service is not available in the clinic building itself but visitors and patients are welcome to dine in the cafeteria located on the first floor of the hospital.  Vending machines are also available in the cafeteria.

MEDICAL RECORDS:

If you need a copy of your medical record you must put your request in writing to:

A copy of your medical record will be sent to a healthcare provider, free of charge.  If the record is for your personal use a fee will be charged for copying.  For further information, please call 312.996.6830.

There are pharmacy services on site at the Oncology Center, which strives to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care of the highest quality to ensure safe, rational and cost-effective use of medications to achieve optimal outcomes.  It is staffed by specially trained pharmacists are here to help you understand your medications and how to take them.  We work with your physicians to minimize drug reactions and interactions and help you maintain the best possible health and wellness.
