My clinical practice is with the transplant-infectious diseases service; we work closely with the solid organ and bone marrow transplantation services at UIC to assist in the management of infectious complications. My research focus stems from clinical practice as I am interested in opportunistic pathogens, in particular, invasive fungal infections.
