Vitreoretinal Service
Ophthalmologists in this service, who are specialized in the evaluation and management of vitreoretinal disorders see patients with conditions such as age related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinopathy of prematurity, intraocular tumors, severe eye trauma, and ocular complications of diabetes or sickle cell disease. Members of this service are specialists in laser treatment of the retina, retinal detachment surgery, and vitreous microsurgery.
