2nd Annual Illinois Eye Review opens with rave reviews for guest lecturers Hermann Schubert and Morton Smith
The 2nd Annual Illinois Eye Review opened Monday morning, March 16. The opening lecture provided a factual review of the anatomy and embryology of the eye by Hermann Schubert, MD, Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Pathology at Columbia University and Director of Ophthalmic Pathology at Presbyterian Hospital in New York.
Dr. Schubert is director of the Ocular Anatomy Section for the famous Lancaster Course in Ophthalmology and director of the Ocular Pathology Section for the Greater NY Clinical Science Course. He is the author, co-author and editor of over 40 publications, 11 books chapters and one book.
Dr. Morton Smith, Professor and Associate Dean Emeritus of the Washington University School of Medicine, gave a talk on Ophthalmic Pathology, including his famous “CPC.”
