UIC is located in the West Side Medical Center District, one mile west of the junction of three major expressways: Kennedy (I-90), Eisenhower (I-290), and Dan Ryan (I-90-94).

Directions via car

• From the north, take I-90/94, Kennedy Expressway, to West I-290, Eisenhower Expressway.

• From the south, take I-90/94, Dan Ryan Expressway, to West I-290, Eisenhower Expressway.

• From the west, take East I-290, Eisenhower Expressway.

• Exit the Eisenhower Expressway at Ashland/Paulina Street exit. Turn south on Ashland Avenue. Turn West on Taylor.

Parking

• Parking is available in the Wood Street garage south of Taylor Street. Turn left (South) onto Wood and right (West) on Grenshaw (2nd street on right) enter visitor garage. Bring parking ticket with you for validation.

• Exit parking garage to the North, walk north to Taylor and Wood 4 way stop. Turn Left (West) on Taylor. Walk one block to stop sign and turn Right (North) on Wolcott. Chicago Illini Union is on the Left toward the north end of the block.

Directions via CTA elevated train

• Take the 54/Cermak train to the Polk Street stop. Walk west on Polk Street to Wolcott Avenue.

• Turn Left (South) on Wolcott.

• Chicago Illini Union is on the Right.

Directions via CTA bus

• Take the # 37 Sedgwick bus, or the # 9 Ashland bus to the Taylor Street stop. Walk west on Taylor Street.

• Turn Right on Wolcott. Chicago Illini Union is on the Left toward the north end of the block.
