The goals of this one-day symposium are to:

• Provide a forum for the discussion of current topics in vision research through formal oral presentations and poster sessions

• Promote scientific interactions and foster multidisciplinary collaborations among vision researchers in the Midwest

• Highlight excellence and innovation in vision research
