For 150 years, the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary has been committed to improving the ophthalmologic care and quality of life for individuals who are visually impaired and blind.

It can help us identify what causes blinding eye diseases – the first step in finding a cure – and to develop novel diagnostic tools, clinical interventions and applications of emerging technologies to treat eye diseases.
