I have a question about my bill. Who should I call?
For any billing questions, call the Patient Accounts Department at (312) 996-1000. You may also visit the Patient Accounts Department at 809 S. Marshfield, 9th floor.
Can I pay my bill online?
Yes. Visit MY UIMC for online bill payment.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
You'll need an insurance referral from your primary care physician if you have an HMO insurance. If you don't have an HMO insurance, you won't need an "official" referral from a doctor to be seen. However, if you are being referred by a doctor, please make sure we have that information so we can keep your physician informed.
Who do I contact for information if I am an International Patient?
The Department of Ophthalmology provides specialized medical care to international patients. Please contact the Comprehensive Ophthalmology Faculty Practice at (312) 355-5220 to help you schedule your appointment and provide an estimate of the cost of services.
