- The Neuro-Ophthalmology Service offers expert evaluation and consultation for treating neuro-ophthalmologic conditions, including: optic neuritis, idiopathic intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri), and visual or oculomotor complications of stroke, brain tumors, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, and orbital inflammatory syndrome among others.
- A wide range of diagnostic testing for optic neuropathies is available to the referring physician, including: Goldmann and Humphrey perimetry, and infra-red pupilometry. The service works closely with doctors in the Departments of Radiology, Neurosurgery and Neurology to provide access to 3-Tesla MRI, angiography and lumbar puncture testing as well as state of the art neurological and neurosurgical treatments.
