Driving from the north:
Drive south on I-90 (Kennedy Expressway). Stay in the right lane when I-90 turns into I-94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Exit onto I-290 West (Eisenhower Expressway) following the “to Western Suburbs” signs. Stay in the right lane on I-290 West. Continue on I-290 West about ½ mile to the second exit which is the “Ashland Avenue/Paulina Street” exit. Stay in the left lane on the exit ramp. Turn left from the exit ramp onto Ashland Avenue. Move to and stay in the right lane on Ashland Avenue. Continue on Ashland Avenue to Taylor Street (about 6 blocks). Turn right (west) onto Taylor Street. Continue driving to a UIC parking lot as shown on the campus map.
Driving from the west:
Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to the “Ashland Avenue/Paulina Street” exit. Stay to the right on the exit ramp. Continue to the stoplight at Ashland Avenue and turn right. Stay in the right lane on Ashland Avenue. Continue on Ashland Avenue to Taylor Street (about 4 blocks). Turn right onto Taylor Street.  Continue driving to a UIC parking lot as shown on the campus map.
Driving from the southwest:
Drive northeast on I-55 (Stevenson Expressway) to I-90/94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) following the “to Wisconsin” signs. Exit onto I-290 West (Eisenhower Expressway) following the “to Western Suburbs” signs. Continue on I-290 West about ½ mile to the second exit which is the “Ashland Avenue/Paulina Street” exit. Stay to the left on the exit ramp. Turn left from the exit ramp onto Ashland Avenue. Stay in the right lane on Ashland Avenue. Continue on Ashland Avenue to Taylor Street (about 6 blocks). Turn right onto Taylor Street. Continue driving to a UIC parking lot as shown on the campus map.
Driving from the south:
Take I-57 North to I-94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway) following the “to Wisconsin” signs. Exit onto I-290 West (Eisenhower Expressway) following the “to Western Suburbs” signs. Stay in the right lane on I-290 West. Continue on I-290 West to the second exit which is the “Ashland Avenue/Paulina Street” exit. Stay to the left on the exit ramp. Turn left from the exit ramp onto Ashland Avenue. Stay in the right lane on Ashland Avenue. Continue on Ashland Avenue to Taylor Street (about 6 blocks). Turn right onto Taylor Street. Continue driving to a UIC parking lot as shown on the campus map.

Bus-riders:
Your destination is the corner of Damen Avenue and Polk Street. Walk east on Polk Street for one block. Turn right on Wolcott Avenue. The UIC Student Center West will be the first building you see on your right.
Train-riders
Your destination is the Polk Street CTA Station on the Blue Line 54th/Cermak Branch. Walk west (left as you leave the station) on Polk Street for 1-1/2 blocks. Turn left on Wolcott Avenue. The UIC Student Center West will be the first building you see on your right.
