Insurance Stipends for Residents
Dear Residents
According to GME policy, residents who have dependents on their University health care coverage are entitled to a reimbursement for a portion of the cost of the dependent coverage.
If you are not receiving this stipend, and you are eligible, or if you would like to find out if you are receiving this stipend, please contact the GME Office at 312-996-2933.

This stipend must be added each year. Therefore, if you received the stipend last year, and have not changed your coverage, you should contact GME to ensure that the stipend has been added for this year.
To expedite the process of receiving your reimbursement stipend, you may contact the Benefits Center (call 996-6470) and ask them to fax your "benefits summary" to GME (312-996-3050).
