ABOUT THE SEMINAR Our philosophy is simple. When students unite their efforts, they can reach higher goals. Thus, we provide an environment where students work on developing the skills necessary to build their own conferences, self-esteem, and trust of others, as well as provide a culturally based Leadership Development Training on Hispanic Health. The Leadership Development Seminar will bring together approximately 20 student leaders from various Illinois schools to participate in interactive workshops. The training's are structure to develop and strengthened their organizational and leadership skills. The Challenge course is set up to challenge students to work together . All activities build upon each other to progressively lead participants to the end result TEAMWORK. The two-day Leadership Development Seminar will be held May 19-20, 2000.
