Medical Education goes Online
Beginning this summer, DME inaugurates its new online programs for the
medical education community world-wide. These courses and modules are
designed to deliver the same dynamic discussion-centered instruction that
has become a DME hallmark. The following programs will be offered:
- The Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) can now be completed at
the UIC campus or over the Internet. For registration information and
course listings, visit the web site.
- Specialty Needs for Primary Care Physicians, a continuing medical
education course, will begin in June with a module in GERD. Check back soon for more information.
- A new program designed specifically for the medical resident, the GME
core curriculum will also debut this summer with short courses on
professionalism and ethics. More information about this program will be posted here in the near future.
