MHPE
Program Promotes Leadership
The Master of
Health Professions Education (MHPE)
program is designed for health professionals who want to better
prepare for educational leadership roles. The program may be completed
either on campus (during intensive summer sessions) or online (in
a semester-long format). Both formats allow professionals to pursue
their degrees while maintaining full-time jobs. Courses
address topics including curriculum development, program evaluation,
instruction, student assessment, current educational issues, research
methods, and leadership. MHPE students are encouraged to use their
home institutions as a laboratory for the practical application
of educational and leadership concepts.
