Department of Pediatrics - Specialty and Division

Pediatric Immunology/Rheumatology

Services include comprehensive care for children with immune-based disorders, including congenital and acquired immune deficiencies (AIDS) and rheumatologic conditions (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus). The Immunology/Rheumatology division has a large clinical program in acquired immune deficiencies, with a caring, multidisciplinary approach to meeting the needs of patients with suspected and diagnosed HIV infection. We provide long-term follow-up of infants and children born from HIV infected mothers.
