Application Process
Thank you for your interest in the University of Illinois at Chicago Pediatric Residency Program. All applicants must be registered with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We offer 14 PGY1 positions.
Interviews
Following review of all completed application documents, selected applicants will be contacted for interviews to be scheduled during the months of November, December, and January. Applicants are responsible for the completeness of their files.
Criteria for International Medical Graduates
At the current time we have no set criteria or minimum requirements for IMG applicants. We consider each candidate on an individual basis and make a decision to interview after reviewing your complete file. We would prefer the candidates to have already obtained ECFMG certification at the time of applying. If you have certain visa requirements, please keep in mind we only sponsor J1 visas.
