How to fix an animal eye for capsulorhexis in the lab

In short, inject pure formalin into the anterior chamber, and let it sit for 1 or 2 minutes. Thats it. :) There is supposedly some formalin on one of the shelves in the lab.

Here is the reference for more details, they suggest diluting the formalin, but it supposedly works better to use pure formalin:
