In addition to my University activity, I serve as the Editor for the American Thoracic Society's Website and on the Board of Directors of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, and International Tuberculosis Foundation.

Clinical Research
Dr. Schraufnagel's clinical research entails investigates scleroderma lung disease and pulmonary hypertension in sickle cell disease. His basic research studies structural changes that occur in the pulmonary vasculature in different diseases.
