Welcome to the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, a division in the Department of Surgery. The Cardiothoracic Surgical Division performs all aspects or surgery related to the thorax. This includes adult cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, and general thoracic surgery.

In addition, active and productive research is carried out by members of the faculty, including studies focused on myocardial protection, cardiopulmonary preservation, and lung cancer genetics.
