FUNDAMENTALS OF LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY (FLS) PROGRAM

FLS is a comprehensive program that includes a CD-ROM-based learning module and a hands-on skills training component with a validated assessment tool designed to teach the physiology, fundamental knowledge and technical skills required in basic laparoscopic surgery. FLS is CME accredited.

The Exam "is a two-part, proctored exam consisting of a multiple-choice computer based test and hands-on skills test utilizing the specific FLS trainer box. These exams cover the course material and the application of this knowledge with emphasis on clinical judgement and intraoperative decision-making."
