The team of the Division of General, Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery offers a wide variety of procedures that you will not find in other institutions and their worldwide renowned expertise in performing robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery of the pancreas, lung, esophagus, colon, stomach, liver, gallbladder and kidney, including the removal of cancerous tumors of the lung and pancreas will ensure that you will have the best care possible.
Patients are seen in the General Surgery clinic at the University of Illinois Outpatient Care Center in suite 3F. The Outpatient Care Center is located at 1801 W. Taylor, Chicago, IL 60612.

Patients who are scheduled for outpatient surgery will arrive the day of surgery at the Surgicenter, which is located in the main hospital at 1740 W. Taylor Street at the 3rd floor. These patients will also be discharged from the Surgicenter after their procedure.

Once patients are discharged from the hospital, they are seen for follow-up in the General Surgery clinic. After 60 days from the surgery you will need a new referral.
