Francesco Bianco, MD
Robotic Surgery Research and Training Specialist

Dr. Bianco received his Medical Doctor degree from G. d’Annunzio – Chieti University, Italy in 1999 and completed a residency in General Surgery at the same institution. He further pursued specialization completing his fellowship in minimally invasive and robotic surgery at Misericordia Hospital in Grosseto, Italy, as part of the largest program of robotic general surgery in the world.

As attending surgeon of the same institution he become also the coordinator and part of the faculty of the International school of robotic surgery, heading courses on robotic and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Bianco is presently focusing on robotic techniques development and initiating and training surgeons, residents and fellows in robotic surgery techniques.
Dr. Bianco’s clinical interests include pancreatic, liver and colorectal surgery.
