Training and Degrees

Maya Shahani, MD completed her Residency in General Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School and Boston University.

Clinical Interests

She was Director of Rehabilitation Medicine in Pediatrics and
Medicine at Beverly Hospital in Boston following which she held the position of Director of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Programs at Spaulding Hospital in Boston, for six years. During this time, she continued the private practice of Pediatrics with special emphasis on developmental problems.

Dr. Shahani has special research interests in the feeding problems of infants with cleft/craniofacial conditions, and in the growth and development of these patients. She has lectured on these topics and participates in continuing education courses at Harvard Medical School.
