Historica“L” Chicago
ALL ABOARD! Join us for a tour of the historical sites along the
CTA Brown Line train.
See Chicago’s historical sites from the unique
vantage
point of a privately rented CTA train. This tour will be led by a
Chicago
transit expert and historian and will highlight the importance and
significance of the areas along the route.
WHEN: Saturday, July 31, 2004. Registration
begins at 9:15 am. The train leaves promptly at 10:00 am and will
return at 1:30 pm.
WHERE: The train will depart from and arrive back at the
Kimball
stop (corner of Kimball and Lawrence) on the CTA Brown Line. (This is a
park and ride stop.)
REGISTRATION FEE:
$55 for University of Illinois Alumni Association members
$75 for Non-members
$45 for Children (ages 12 and under, not recommended for children
under age 6)
Price includes boxed lunch, drinks, snacks, and souvenir.
