Alumni and their families gathered at the North Park Village Nature Center to learn about ways we can appreciate nature, even in the midst of an urban area. Topics for the day included gardening with prairie plants and composting, and after lunch we were treated to a tour and learned about the history of the site. The day was fun for adults and children, and we hope that our alumni will continue to spread the word about this scenic gem in the heart of the city.
