Family Summer Fun with the UIC CUPPA Alumni Association
Please
bring your families and friends and join the UIC
CUPPA Alumni Association for an outdoor picnic and
summertime fun!
Garfield Park
Conservatory
300 N. Central Park Ave. (Jensen Room)
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Cost $15 per person (box lunch and beverage)
Enjoy your
last days of summer with family and friends at Garfield Park.
Picnic will be followed by a brief presentation about the recent
developments in the Park. Then, get a chance to experience fun
and learning by exploring the Garfield Park Conservatory and
Chicago's best kept secret, Garfield Park marketplace. Children
are welcome. Either order a box lunch for your kids or bring
your own food for no charge. There is a Children's Garden in
the Conservatory and lots of room to play in the 300-acre park.

presents "The State of the Industry."

Dinner featuring guest speaker John Schmidt, Co-Chair of the Mayor's
Zoning Reform Commission: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Newman Center, 700 S.
Morgan Street.

Lunch for Joan Vaughan
The Alumni Association says good-bye to Joan Vaughan, who will be
leaving the CUPPA office for new opportunities. Joan's contributions to
CUPPA and to CUPPA-AA are too numerous to describe, and we are sorry to
see her go and we wish her all the best.
