Bio.
Ed is a past graduate of the MUPP program (198x) with a specialization in transportation. Ed is very active in the national transportation data scene and is currently chairing the Transportation Research Board's (TRB) Committee on Urban Data and Information Systems. In 1998 he served as the inaugural chair of a TRB Subcommittee on Census Data for Transportation Planning and has been very active in the construction and design of CTPP 2000 as well as the 1990 package. Prior to coming to FHA, Ed worked in Washington DC for the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (2.5 years) and another 19.5 years at the Chicago Area Transportation Study where he served as the Director of Information Services for the last 14. Ed promises to make his talk interesting and informative.
