Kinder welcomes the
Institute’s many visitors, coordinates meetings for faculty and
staff, and handles a variety of other administrative duties.
As mother of five children, Kinder was active on the PTA
at Morton Career Academy. She then became active in Chicago
school reform efforts and was elected to the presidency of the Local
School Council at Morton, a position she held for five years.
