Ms. McGee is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with extensive clinical and community experience in the diet and lifestyle management of obesity and chronic diseases. A UIC graduate, she has worked professionally at the UIC since 1999. She previously served as senior clinical nutrition specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago Nutrition & Wellness Center and co-director of the Diabetes Education Program at Circle Family Health Center. Currently she is the Director of the University of Illinois at Chicago - Chicago Partnership for Health Promotion (CPHP), which is a community/public health initiative directed at improving health eating practices, fitness, and obesity prevention in Chicago.
