Ann Barnds has many years of experience as a community organizer, primarily working on rental housing and senior issues. Prior to her work as a community organizer, Ann worked in the graphic arts industry. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy with a specialization in planning for the elderly and persons with disabilities. Currently working on a grant funded by the Ford Foundation, as well as a survey of seniors in Pilsen and Little Village for The Resurrection Project, Ann is working to identify if there is a demand for an affordable, assisted-living facility.
